Club Notes – Week Beginning 16/03/15

Last week lotto numbers were 4, 9, 18 and 24. There were no jackpot winners. Two matched three numbers; Peter McGrath and Goretti Hughes. Next week’s jackpot is £1625.

Last Saturday our u14 girls got their league campaign under way with a home game against St Macartan’s. After a slow start the girls finally got going in the second half by playing some great football they got their season off to a winning start.

On Sunday morning our u14 boys took on the Moy. In a game which was keenly contested the Rahillys led from the start to the finish. But in the second half the Moy staged a comeback but the young Rahillys stayed strong and with a great all round battling display they got the victory.

Our minor ladies continued their unbeaten start to the year with a victory away to Dromore.

The club would like to wish Fintan McClure who is the captain of St. Patricks Dungannon all the best in the MacRory Cup final this St. Patricks Day.

Membership is due by the end of the month and must be paid to Enda Shields.

The winner of the bonus ball this week was Stevie McKee with number 35.

Rahilly start continues this week from 12.15 to 1.15 on Saturday. This is open to everyone from ages 3-6. All parents must stay with their children at all times. This is a great way to start young people in the art of Gaelic Football. So if you have a child of this age why not come down and have your child a good hours fun.

Keep Saturday 28th March free and Let Us Entertain You! Any of you who saw ‘Stars in Their Eyes’ last year won’t want to miss it. Who can forget ‘My Lovely Horse’ and the ‘Summer of ’69!! Tickets are already on sale from Enda Shields, Eamonn Hanna, Angela Devlin and Olivia Donnelly. Don’t be disappointed – this show will sell out!!

Anyone who hasn’t filled out youth registration form is asked to fill one out and hand it in to their respective management team.

Anyone interested in joining Cumann O’Rathaille is asked to contact Shane Devlin. This is a great way to help in the running of our club.

To get ready for St. Patricks day why not call down to the bar on Monday 16th March to get going for the big day. Music in the front bar by Paul Duffin.

This Friday night will see another major milestone in our clubs development with the launch of our website. There will be a small function to mark the occasion. Everyone is welcomed.
