Club Notes week ending 22nd March

Last week lotto numbers were 3, 5, 9 and 16. There were no jackpot winners. Seven matched three numbers; Carmel Lyttle, Enda Hughes, Isnatius O’Neill, Damien Dunlop, T Devlin, Lisa O’Donnell and Alana Acheson. Next week’s jackpot is £1650.

Last Saturday our minor girls continued their excellent start to their league campaign with a hard fought victory against Omagh. After a quick start by the Rahillys Omagh fought back into the game to leave matters close at half time. But in the second half and by playing some excellent football the Rahillys managed to get the win. This means our minor ladies have won all of their league matches so far.

On Saturday morning our u14s boys continued their unbeaten start to the season with a win against Eglish. In the first half it was score for score but in the second half the Rahillys pulled away to get their third win.

Last Sunday our u14 girls made the long journey to Dromore. In a game which was keenly contested the Rahillys had to battle hard throughout. But with great determination they managed to get the victory to ensure that they have two wins from two matches.

Next Sunday sees our big bingo taking place at 6pm in the Community Centre. With £4000 up for grabs on the day this is an excellent chance to win some money before Easter.

The final countdown is on to Saturday night’s Let Me Entertain You and what a fantastic show we have in store for you! Tickets are selling fast but some are still available from Enda Shields, Eamonn Hanna and Angela O’Neill.  If you remember last year’s brilliant Stars in Their Eyes, you won’t want to miss it! Tickets are priced at £10.

Membership for the year is due at the end of the month. Anyone who hasn’t paid is asked to get their money to Enda Shields ASAP.

The club shop is open this Friday night from 8-9. This is the last chance to order merchandise before the championship, so don’t miss out.

The winner of the bonus ball last week was Shane Devlin with number 11.

Rahilly start continues this week from 12.15 to 1.15 on Saturday. This is open to everyone from ages 3-6. All parents must  stay with their children at all times. This is a great way to start young people in the art of Gaelic Football. So if you have a child of this age why not come down and have your child a good hours fun.

On Friday 27th March the Feet Beat Dance club is holding a ladies night at 7pm. Admission is £5.  Lots of stalls with jewellery, makeup, perfumes, bags and pampering treatments including massage, hair and makeup.

For booking the indoor hall contact Alice Campbell on 07526834948. Bar/lounge bookings can be made with Alerian Taggart on 07841702742.

The club would like to congratulate senior player Declan Coney and his partner Shauna Quinn on the birth of their baby boy Dara, a star of the future no doubt.

Don’t forget that our new website is now live and can be visited at www.clonoe.com.
