Clonoe O’Rahilly’s G.F.C. Notes week ending 03/05/15

Pride of place in our club goes to Danny McNulty who played a major part in Tyrone u21 All Ireland victory. We hope that this is the first of many medals that Danny picks up this year.

The senior and reserve game this week weren’t played due to a waterlogged pitch. The seniors and reserves are down to play Omagh on Friday night. Watch local press for details.

Last Tuesday night our minor boys got their championship campaign under way with an away game to Killyclogher. In a game played in bad conditions the Rahillys fought hard throughout. Throughout the 60 minutes the young Rahillys fought for every ball and they managed to run out winners on a score line of 0.09 to 0.07.

The minors ladies played in the quarter final of their championship last Monday night against Ardboe. In a game in which they totally dominated they managed to get the victory. There was some excellent football on show and this means they have a semi final to look forward to against Dungannon on May Day at 7pm in Killyman. All support welcomed.

The u14 boys managed to stay top of their league with a big victory over Stewartstown.

The winner of the bonus ball last week was Helen Doris with number 6.
